This is the most comfortable carrier EVER! I have tried several others - after nearly getting strangled in 50 feet of fabric (moby) or needing to call my massage therapist every time I used the Bjorn, I finally found the best carrier out there. The only tricky part is doing up the back clip by yourself. I have very flexible shoulders and still struggle with it (though I can undo it myself easily). Baby seems to love it in there, falls asleep easily (3 months). Very happy with my Galaxy Grey.
I purchased this for my son who's five months now. We've had it a little over a month and a half. It's awesome. I wish I would have purchase it when he was younger. He likes it a lot. I put him in and he gets to look around. My boy is an arm baby so he does not mind me or anyone else carrying him. When he is not looking he is sleeping. About the Ergo, I love it. It's soft, fits comfortable around my waist, and the color is nice. I have back issues and it is not a problem carrying him.
I have purchased every type of carrier (moby, EZSling, Baby Bjorn - and the list goes on) and I must say that out of every single one the Ergo is the best by miles... I can nurse in it, we walk together in it every night... I've had my three month old in it since she was a month.. I seriously do not know what I would do without the ergo. However I do not recommend buying the newborn insert... Just use two receiving blankets folded up! Not to try to take business or purchases away from Ergobaby but the newborn insert in my opinion just doesn't work very well, and my baby didn't like it at all.
Coming from someone who owns every type of carrier - BUY THE ERGO!!!!
I hate to make this about fashion, but damn this thing is so good looking :) Added bonus for shopping with baby Kyle strapped to my chest and having both hands free makes me one happy momma.
I've been using the original carrier in Galaxy Grey for my baby, and it's saved me every single day since purchase. It's an investment but this carrier is worth every single penny. Front carry, back carry, even my hubby can use it. It stays in place when the baby is in it, evens out weight to shoulders and hips so you won't suffer from arm pain.
But one day I accidentally broke the buckle on the shoulder...NO!!! I immediately contacted the customer service, and they SO helpful, they even offered to send me a replacement part for free!! What an amazing service, I'm totally impressed with the product of course but it's rare to see this type of service nowdays. Thank you Ergo!
